Oakland County to be Wireless Soon

I heard recently that Oakland County ( I live there), is going be covered with a Wireless Cloud so that all the residents and visitors are wireless enabled. I think that is a great vision. The following link will give you an entire story on that.

Kudos to Books Patterson, the county executive for this great initiative in my county. There are certain pilot areas that they are testing right now for wireless access. Check out the above website for pilot areas to see if you are able to get in. I am going to do that this weekend. Wixom, a town next to mine (Novi) has a pilot area. Let me see if this is going to work out.

I wonder what the technology is going to be. Is this Wi-Fi or Wi-Max or what? More on that in my next post.

New Venture Creation

I am taking a class on "New Venture Creation" ES 615. This class teaches about the process of new venture creation. I was wondering if I have to start a new blog or just use my existing blog to write posts about that class. I want to invite my class mates to start posting comments on this blog as well.

New to Blogging

I started blogging in Spring of 2005. Prof. Bud Gibson at Michgan Business School taught us blogging as part of a SME class that I took. I got so interested in this stuff. This is very interesting. It has opened my thoughts to new ways of marketing my company and driving more traffic towards me and my company's websites. So, I took this new class BIT 742 during my Winter 2006 semester.

This has been an exciting journey so far. I just start this new blog last week and I am trying out new things. I have formed a team to work on a blog.

I want to blog on a lot of topics, but hey, this requires a lot of time, else your blog is as dead as a book on your shelf. No one gets to see what you want to tell them.

How to add a new section on my blog.

I am curious as to how I can add a new section (not a category), for example, I would like to add my delicious links or I want to show a list my favourite blogs. How do I do that? Any one any thoughts?
